We're so fortunate to work with generous, talented people that make tremendous contributions toward shaping Chicago's cultural landscape. It's no surprise that in reviewing the achievements of 2011, these individuals are praised on many lists.
We'd like to congratulate Shannon Stratton of threewalls for being lauded by the Chicago Tribune as one of nine Chicagoans of the Year! The article continues with Hyde Park Art Center highlighted in Doug Garafolo's recognition.
We're also very proud of Jamil Khoury of Silk Road Rising for being featured in The Chicago Reader's The People Issue of 2011. Hats off to everyone for quite a productive year!
