Work in a small team environment with one of the most respected and trusted web agencies in the heart of Chicago's design district, River North. Your co-workers excel in Ruby on Rails, thoughtful user interfaces, QA and agile project management, business strategy, and lean and clean markup. You'll be working on wireframes, mockups, markup and implementation into various CMS, mobile, and Rails custom projects, as well as maintaining existing projects through HTML/CSS revisions. Work on meaningful projects across the university, art, not-for-profit and corporate worlds, with clients who love us for our dedication and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Full time, on-location only
- 2 to 4 years experience
- expert knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong typographic know-how
- Deep understanding of grid systems
- Expert knowledge in handcrafted HTML/CSS (HTML5)
- Foundations of interaction design
- Foundations of iPhone/iPad HIG
Great if you've got:
- SASS & Compass chops
- Blueprint knowhow
- Git familiarity
- Basic understanding of Rails view templates
- basic jQuery
- Flash
