Civitas Schools
Civitas Schools is a non-profit educational management organization that operates charter schools in Chicago. It produces some of the highest-achieving students in Chicago. We developed a series of school websites and incorporated an easy-to-use content management system using Movable Type. The sites feature Flash stories, key information for parents and students, and a visual design that carries through to the Schools’ printed collateral.

From departmental presentations to the unconventional institutional events, the OPC is a new program that aims to advance the collective understanding of theory and practice within the visual arts. Their website presents video content and program overviews with a customized event calendar and event blog.

Friends of the Chicago River: Watershed
Friends of the Chicago River's educational program provides for scientific experimentation, water quality monitoring, historical investigation, art projects and ecological restoration for Chicago area schools. This Ruby on Rails website allows students to submit data and allows users to download water quality and habitat reports and manage their school profiles.
